The Return...

Hello my dear friends!
It’s been a while since my last post and a lot has happened for all of us!
I’m sure that all of you are doing ok and thinking about the vacations…

This post it’s just to tell you that I’m back to the blog and I want to make sure that this space will continue to keep us all connected to Växjö.

I have some ideas for a reunion in Växjö in the summer of 2009 and I would like to know your thoughts about it! I will post something about it in the next days.

Please register your gmail account in the blogspot so you can post directly in this blog.

Let us all know about new blogs, websites, events, reunions, trips, etc…about Växjö and its Erasmus Class of 2005!

Keep spreading the work,
Jorge

Together in Greece

Well...From this summer I have to say that Greece is a fantastic place, it completely changed my schemes... :D
And being there among friends is an unforgettable experience, for sure.
Thanks Apos for melting with us in your place, thanks Thassos, Dimitris, for making it possible to share a dinner and malakies, even if it was for only one day in Athens.
There's a video...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyP6XT6q7eU

We'll meet again soon. Sure! :D

A big hug to all of you, greeks, and non greeks.

Fantastic 4

Hello guys,
there was a great happening in Rome.
No, it was not my graduation. It was the big party I organized!
For the complete success of it I needed help... I needed the Fantastic 4!
You know them. They are 4 superheroes with special alcoholic power...
They knew about the party almost by chance, but immediatly they felt responsible for its success: great alcoholic power imply big responibilities!
Marc, Toni, Uri and a friend of them came from Barcellona the very day of the party.
They visited Rome; they came to the party; they got drunk; they did not sleep; and the day after they came back to Spain. Like zoombies i guess.
The party was really incredible. They accomplished their mission.
Thanks guys!
- I hope to see all my other friends as soon as possible -
Enrico

Weekend in Athína

Hej Hej

Athens is an amazing city!
Congratulations to the Greeks.

I had a great and busy time in Greece. It were 3 days of business, food, drinking and partying.
There was still time to visit some monuments like Acropolis and the Sounio.

I advice everyone to visit this country, it has an amazing culture, food, and nightlife.
I visited one area with a lot of coffees and bar in Glyfada, I think, and I was surprised with the people and the places! Very nice!
I just visited one Disco in 2 different nights and it’s impressive. It was one
of the biggest clubs that I ever been! One cool thing! – the Greeks only party hard with Greek music. But I believe you can still have fun.

To bad I didn’t had the opportunity to meet all the Greek community from Växjö! Thank you so much for the interest in meeting me. I will not forget

it!

I believe I will be there soon and for a week at least, in that moment we will be together for sure.

Thank you Tassos, Dimitri, Apostolis and Andreas!

Keep spreading the work,
Jorge

Hello from Marta in Barcelona

Hej Hej
I have to say that the blog you created is fantastic! That's a really god way to know how's life about each other. Since I came back, I met several times with the catalan people: Marc 1, Marc 2, Berna, Jordi,...and also the other Spanish people: Patricia, Gonzalo, Diego,...but not with you! so that would be great to find a convenient date for all of us to do a new Växjö meeting.
Anyway, I just wanted to post a comment on the blog but I could no do it...Should I have a password and username to do it? Please! give me the right instructions in order to do it correctly!.
thanks in advance!
*hugs*
Marta.

Steph invites you...

Hello to all in the world!

Finally, another Vaxjo reunion is in the making...Jericho is coming from California to Minnesota in July...we are finding cheap tickets too! Massi (Whom everyone knows! <--He actually asked me if I remembered him! No one could forget!)...anyways, Massi will be living in the U.S. for a couple months working and he too has shown interest in meeting up!

An exciting thing is that I now own a motorhome, which would be kick ass to do a little camping trip...all of the Vaxjo erasmus parting and making new memories around a camp fire on a beautiful lake? Sound ok? Also, my home is open to everyone and it is in the heart of the city...so, please contact me if you'd like to make more plans!

As the years go by, it becomes more and more important to keep Vaxjo alive!

Thanks, Steph

translation of the article...

Dear Friends

Thanks to Doro, we have a translation of the article!

"Jorge cannot forget the good times in Växjö and that he wants to keep the memory alive. Although it's been a real shock at that time in January to leave the train and notice the temperatures. Also, in Swedish student's life, everything seems to be about studying and working, only at the weekends it is about relaxing. It is different in Portugal. That is why Jorge was partying a lot in Sweden, as well. Quotation: "You have to party to cope with studies." The pubs are nice in Växjö, but they are closing very early.

About Sweden, Jorge liked especially the friendly way of the Swedes and, of course, the snow. When he came back, Jorge was missing his fellows from Växjö a lot. The company among the exchange students has been a strong one. "At the end I was forced to do something against the silence", that's why he started a Växjö-Blog to wake up the community that began to get a bit sleepy and to create a forum to keep in contact. Since he started the blog, some articles were posted but that is not enough for Jorge. Still in this year, he wants to return to Smaland, after he could convince a friend to study there as well. "So easy you won't get rid of me!"

Thank you soo much Doro...

2 years and something...

Hej people!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t meet Jordi in his last trip to Barcelona! Mainly because I was not informed... please contact me through marc.morales@hotmail.com , Jordi : I really hope to see you the next time!!

Do you remember how cold it was 2 years ago? So that’s nothing compared with my last trip to Finland, to visit Sonja, -19º C, shit , Apo do u imagine yourself erasmus there? Sonja is doing really great and I hope this crazy relationship keep on so good as until now.

The 5 months I spent in Sweden with each one of you, were unforgettable, and have had big consequences in my life: a better CV, one year in Copenhagen, a bunch of friends, Sonja, a loan that I’m still paying, less health due to alcohol and tobacco, hundreds of pictures, and thousand of moments that I’m never gonna forget.

About 3 weeks ago we had a typical Catalan dinner, and it was nice to see again Nice, mad Cristina, Phillippe, Jordi & Claire, Bernabe, Huge Marc and Toni Morrisey...but it wasn’t enough, and I’m looking forward to meet again each of you!

Well, about me, I will start this Wednesday to work in Hewlett Packard, Barcelona, doing something called Retail Operations Specialist, it sounds quite fancy, but will see how it is! I’m really happy about the job! – Despite I will rather prefer to live without doing it –

Regards and the best luck to all of you, even the greek megamalakas...

P.D. 1 Enricco, cazzo, a big hug! Please send me those pictures of the last night in Copenhagen! When are we gonna see each other? This summer I will go Rome, I will tell you when! Andrea (quelle grande zompapereta e la tua mamma) , Massimiliano , write something to us!

P.D. 2 Steph, nice to hear from you!
